Bridging Theory and Practice: Law Students Visit District and Sessions Judge Court, Sylhet.

First Court Visit – Fall 2025

The Department of Law, Sylhet International University, successfully organized a Court Visit for law students as part of their practical legal education during the Fall 2025 semester. The visit took place on 05 November 2025 at the District and Sessions Judge Court, Sylhet.

Students from the Third  Year LL.B. (Second  Semester) and Fourth  Year LL.B. (First  Semester) programs participated in this academic visit. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with firsthand exposure to courtroom proceedings, judicial practices, and the practical application of legal theories studied in the classroom.

During the visit, students observed live court sessions and gained valuable insights into court procedures, roles of legal professionals, and the overall functioning of the judicial system. The experience helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical legal practice.

The Department of Law remains committed to enhancing experiential learning opportunities and preparing students for professional excellence in the legal field. This court visit marked an important milestone in enriching students’ academic and practical understanding of law.
